Erica Miller​

Erica Miller is a recent graduate of NYU’s Center for Global Affairs, where she concentrated in Environment and Energy Policy. Originally from Northern California, she also holds a B.S. in Sports Management with a minor in Environmental Studies from NYU. Erica’s work centers on environmental and climate justice, with a particular focus on endangered ecosystems such as the Amazon rainforest and the impact of critical mineral mining on biodiversity and Indigenous communities.

Her research explores how current international relations theories shape environmental outcomes, advocating for new frameworks that prioritize ecological protection and Indigenous sovereignty. Erica is currently developing research for Climate Justice Concerns in the Distributed Ecosystem: Environmental Case Studies in Comparative Perspective, contributing to global conversations on sustainability and equity.
