Mario Chatzidamianos
Mario has spent almost 20 years working as a senior political and parliamentary editor and arm conflicts correspondent in the most controversial environments, covering international diplomacy and policymaking. Since 2011, Mario he has undertaken positioning as project designer, implementor and evaluator to multiple co-funded programs (NSEF, EEA, EURES, ESF, EU Regional HR Management Programs), International initiatives (Better Together Challenge, Knowledge Brokers’ Forum), and projects (European Youth Capital – Thessaloniki 2014, the European Music Day, 20 Erasmus+ projects, ‘Plus to Minus’ the first privately funded housing program in Greece, ‘Our stories’ a PR strategy regarding the presentation of findings of the HR Program of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, etc.), seminars and educative content for global organizations (Cultural Innovator Network, The World Culture Open, the International Authority for Cultural and Creative Industries, Salzburg Global Seminar), which have been entitled ‘Best Practices’.
In 2018, he undertook the management and communications officer role at Knowledge Brokers’ Forum, the 3rd biggest international network of more than 700 researchers, scientist, and public bodies officials, in over 70 countries, producing evidence-based policies for the Knowledge Economy sector, and being acknowledged by the network as the only Hellene Interdisciplinary Expert in Social and Solidarity Economics (SSE). He co-authored the ‘Prospect Researcher Guide on Fundraising’, for UK’s Chartered Institute of Fundraising providing content on the subjects of “Key Ethical Behavior in Prospect Research” and “Ethic Policy and Procedures in Prospect Research”, the ‘Voices of Culture: Re-engaging Digital Audiences’ handbook, and various research items. He remains a member of major networks (DEVEX, Aidex, Trusted Insight, Compliance Week, Reuters, Assembly of European Regions etc.), and an international judge for the CMSWire CXO Awards. As an interdisciplinary expert for SSE, User & Attention based economics and deep tech for Culture and Creative Industries (CCI), he is a member of EU’s European Capitals of Culture pool of experts, and the European Institution for Technology’s Deep Tech for CCI pool of experts.
His venture ‘Creators of Cosmos SMPC’ has also been identified as ‘Best Practice’ internationally for its gamification of knowledge model, allowing people to identify – acquire and nurture already preexisting capacities and new skills.
