Megan Araghi

Megan Araghi holds a master’s degree in international development from SOAS, University of London, where she completed her graduate thesis on the global cobalt supply chain and the ethical sourcing of it for electric vehicle batteries. Megan’s interest in the governance of natural resources is long-standing, having conducted in-depth research on the Sierra Leone Civil War and her undergraduate thesis on the socio-environmental costs of North American mining companies in Africa. Her research interests focus on critical minerals for the energy transition, Sino-African relations, and the climate-security nexus. A native of California, Megan has extensive academic and professional experience in the UK and France.
