Grant Awarded according to Regional Law 19/1996 of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia

This grant supports the “Living Laboratories” project, which is implemented with reference to the research of Dr. Anna Grichting, a regenerative urbanist based in Geneva. Her publications include “A Productive Permaculture Campus in the Desert. Visions for Qatar University“, “Sustainable Urbanism: Towards Edible Campuses in Qatar and the Gulf Region”, and “Scales of Flows: Qatar and the Urban Legacies of Mega Events”. A planned expansion to Afghanistan is contemplated given the basic human needs of the population there. The external grant partner, LEAD IMPACT, aims to forge a long-term partnership with UNICA and Universidade Federal de Goias Catedra Sergio Vieira de Mello.
