Kimia Rahbar
Kimia Rahbar is an Iranian-American graduate student at NYU, pursuing an M.S. in Global Affairs with a concentration in Transnational Security. Her academic focus includes Iran, the broader Middle East, and democratization. Before beginning her graduate studies and her current role at the Council on Foreign Relations, she worked in Washington, D.C., with both the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary. Originally from Los Angeles, Kimia holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California.
