Maria-Antònia Guardiola
Maria-Antònia (Toni) is an experienced educator, researcher, and consultant with expertise in international education, inclusive practices, and educational policies. She has contributed to teaching and leadership at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), where she coordinated and lectured in a joint Master’s program on Conflict Resolution with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). With a focus on eLearning, conflict resolution, and language learning, Toni has made significant strides in innovative ICT-supported learning, particularly in contexts of transformative change.
As Chief Data Analytics Officer and Educational Consultant at Universal Learning Systems (ULS), a global consultancy specializing in learning development, Toni collaborates with the European Commission, EU Programs, and transnational networks to drive customized learning and conflict resolution initiatives. Her project portfolio spans Africa, Europe, and the United States, including involvement in the EU Capacity Building project TEFL-ePAL in Palestine.
In her roles at UOC and the Department of Education of Catalonia, Toni promotes educational excellence and innovative methodologies in secondary education. She also serves as an Associate Director at the Global Listening Centre and is a member of the International Management Association, fostering global collaboration.
Toni recently completed training in EU Project Management at ESADE and in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science Projects for Leaders at the University of Chicago. Her work focuses on enhancing contributions in Leadership, Education Policies, Digital Education, E-Learning, training design, and Conflict Resolution. She thrives in diverse, innovative partnerships across global locations, including Barcelona, Dublin, and Chicago, and is particularly passionate about the intersection of education and technology on a global scale.
